Morimoto Mexico City by Thomas Schoos ..lovely!

Thomas wanted the Morimoto Mexico experience to be like dining inside a piece of art. The first challenge was the location itself: a cavernous room with 75' high glass ceilings that needed to be divided into functional areas. This was achieved with an almost free-standing structure of interlocking boxes -- like a Japanese "bento" box turned on its side. This clean but playful approach continues in the custom furniture and original art, all of which are part of a cohesive modernist vision.
