illuminating its surroundings the decadently extravagant 'frame chair' by bulgarian company slokoski has the ability to enliven whatever atmosphere it's in. based on the idea of 'memories yet to come' the piece draws attention to itself like those posing for a portrait picture. constructed from lime-tree wood with a varnished finish of either silver or gold metal leaves, the frame feature easily stands out. interpreted as a multitude of styles, it is at once a classic, modern and contemporary structure, the hand carved construction is made from with plywood with a gray or deep purple velvet upholstery and heavy-duty caster wheels complete with brakes. slokoski's unique design is on display for a limited time at the maison & objet, paris from the 6th to the 10th of september, located in the 'funt@sy' trends forum – hall 7.
